Stellar Festival Fringe Thing

There she is… in my beautiful Fringe dress!

I had the honour of heading up to Stellar headquarters in Dublin. I got to meet the lovely Stephanie Game and Corina Cafey and  Naomi Gaffey. They were soo lovely and made me feel so comfortable. The headquarters building was lovely and i met the other lovely girls who were taking part in the same issue of festival fringing and everyone was soo excited! We got the shot anyways and there’s the proof up above!  Delighted with it!

After the shoot myself and my mate poo face (not her real name) lol went for a bite to eat and then had “one ” drink and it was the longest drink ever!   seeing us get on the midnight bus back to Galway snoring all the way!!

Great owl day was had!!! Thanks Poo!!!

skirts

Skirts are to me the most feminine thing you could wear. Everytime i

put one on i get that well “girly feeling”. Im very fond of the high waisted

skirts as they are very flattering to the waist and legs. The time is right now for skirts  and ive just located and opened up my summer wardrobe and have now to fit it in somewhere among everything i own and have purchased since last summer!  This is poo as im running out of space. So ive pulled out a few bits n bobs (i love that saying) and im going to put them in my shop tab (at top of page)

for anyone that will like a peek at the end of the week.

Ive also received my high waisted sheer maxi from NASTYGAL and im in love its a tad too big so will need alteration and then we  are back in each others arms again i will do some outfit posts over on herstylediaries soon on it.

So im off to bed now after a lovely day with the mammy and the boy brought me to the cinema to see “limitless” and yeah it was great defo a good watch!! then we had pizza and chips and snuggled up with missy moo moo whom we left out all evening on her todd… boy was she glad to see us four hours later.. we got loadsa loving for the night : )

Ive been getting into some nail art in the last few weeks and loving all the kool ones out there. You see sooo many original art attacks on nails now its amazing!

My idea of a wedding dress changes alot . These images help me to find what exactly im looking for and give me inspiration for the design. Im thinking i might get it made and put my own design to it. The second picture is a beautiful bridesmaids dress i like and the colours like barley green and duke egg blue all sing a lovely tune in my brain when i think of my wedding day.

Ill be thrawling blogs  and websites untill i finally come up with what i want.

I have time on my side so theres no stress! is there?

Eternal Flame.

Who says Boys can’t wear Magpie Vintage too?

This Year is very exciting one for me as this is the year that i organise the biggest day of a girls life!  Yes yes Im getting married!  to the man i waited and wished for, for a long time. I am still searching for the right dress. ive seen soo many now and have tried on a few and still dont know what i want. Let me tell you its not easy choosing as you  (well me) kinda want the flowing dress  and then you want the big dress and then you want the lace with chiffon and its sooo confusing as there is sooo many out there and if your anything like me where im into all kinds of fashion and styles and cant just keep to one the whole time i like to mix things up try new things but mostly try and be that bit original at the same time!!

Since we have decided to get married in Italy On The Amalfy Coast My choice on dress has changed as it will be warm over there and i want to be confortable so i might go for an all lace dress maybe with a little back on show or grecian type.

I came across this website Magpie Vintage and ive seen some of the most amazing jewellery and headpeices!!  I would like to wear a headpeice on my day i think after i take off the veil i would still like to have something in my hair.

Stiff As A Board Light As A Feather.

This is my screensaver on my iphone love peacocks.

I’m heavily influenced by feathers at the moment. As im contemplating my next tattoo. Will i go for a feather (pictures in the next post) or will i get my little swallows. Or i could be crazy and get both!!!!   I always have this voice in my head saying just do it get both life is too short , you only have one chance, you might regret not doing it!  AND then you got the other voice saying dont do it , you might regret it, it wont suit you when your older, you,l look like a right ejit  and so on and so on…

So then im thinking…. you are who you bloody are , with or without these tattoos. Peoples opinions are  not going to change because of it.  Your boy is still gona love ya, your mam might smile and roll her eyes a bit but  shes unconditional right?

Your besties, will all have a different opinion i know most would probably say dont do it as they are not into them saying that they all have at least one! Others would say do what you like sinead you always have done , thats why we love ya…

Sleepy kingdom.

I dont Know about you but my bed is very very important to me.

A couple of years ago i went out and bought me a superking size bed.

Yes it cost me nearly €2000. But its money well spent.

I have the nicest sleeps in it. Its huge. I can do snow angels in it.

It has a sea view. Missy sleeps here.

The boy sleeps in ‘the other side’.

My bed has seen many things.

Worn many things. Heard many things.

Brought me to places you couldnt even imagine.

My quilt hugs me tight at night and in return i save mine for my pillow.

It allows me to travel to unknown destinations and back.

It keeps me warm. Safe. Secure.

Can also Keep me awake ; )

An email is what led me to where i was in that photo above. I by no means think i am a model and i  was asked to do this shoot by the beautiful photographer    Natalie Herzer Greer  and director of Boudoir Girls!! So i jumped at the chance for a bit of fun,  i do love the whole shoot and makeup and of course the styling involved in these things.  The lovely girls from Rococo in Galway gave me the dress for the day and i felt a million dollars in it. We were promoting  “The Boutique Wedding Fair” on Saturday 19th of February from 11am – 6pm in The House Hotel. An event not to be missed!!

I am going to be there to check out the bride dresses and maybe see something that i like. All details about this event are above and also on their facebook page!!

So if your about Galway city please do drop in to the lovely Boutique Hotel and get pampered and watch some fashion shows or even meet some celebs!!!

I have to say i do love going around in the 
sales but towards the end of january!
Now thats where you get your bargains!
I also love to shop by myself and find
nothing more pleasuring then doing so!
I have no problem hopping on a train
to dublin and shopping for the day all on
my ownsome!
Anyways , posted a few things that i purchased
last week from the net and in town. The leopard
print poncho wrap thing is sooo cosy and perfect
for long flights (which i hope to endure this 
coming may and sept) and just cosing up on 
the sofa. A price tag of €32 also makes me smile.
The white stone necklace is perfect for the 
coming months as are all the silver bits!
Part two of this shopping expedition will 
follow during the week (yes i have a problem)
